How to Use Hollister Urgo Foam Dressing?

Prepare

• Cleanse the wound according to established procedures; ensure surrounding skin is dry prior to dressing application
• Choose a dressing size so the central foam pad covers the entire wound

Place

• Remove one of the protective liners and position the dressing over the wound
• Remove the second protective liner Smooth down
• Apply gentle pressure to the dressing border to secure the dressing
• Avoid stretching and pulling the dressing during application

Protect

• Dressing can be left in place for up to 7 days, depending on the exudate level and clinical condition of the wound
• Waterproof backing will allow cleansing of surrounding areas per healthcare provider guidance
