When to use?

Hollister Onli Intermittent Catheter is typically used by people with urinary retention or bladder disorders who are unable to empty their bladder completely or effectively. Some medical conditions that may require intermittent catheterization include spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, prostate enlargement, or urinary tract abnormalities.

How to use Hollister Onli Catheter?

For Male

1. Wash your hands with soap and water.

2. Open the package by pulling the finger hole toward you and at least halfway down.

3. Hold your penis, and pull back the foreskin (if you have one). Clean the tip of your penis with soap and water or a cleansing wipe.

4. Hold the blue gripper to remove catheter from package

 

5. With one hand, hold your penis facing up. Hold the gripper tightly and begin inserting the catheter into the tip of your penis. Slightly release the gripper, and slide it back toward the funnel.

6. Keep the gripper connected to the funnel. With one hand, hold your penis facing up. With the other hand, hold the catheter down at the gripper/funnel end. Insert the catheter into the tip of your penis until pee starts to flow.

7. When the pee stops, slowly pull the catheter out. Pee may start to flow a little bit more. That is normal. Just pause and wait for pee to stop again before removing the catheter. Throw the catheter away in the garbage. Do not flush it down the toilet.

8. Wash your hands with soap and water.

 

For Female

1. Wash your hands with soap and water.

2. Open the package by pulling the finger hole toward you and at least halfway down.

3. Use two fingers to open up the area around the urethra. Clean the area around the opening of the urethra with soap and water, or a cleansing wipe.

 

4. Hold the funnel end to remove the catheter from the package.

5. Hold only the funnel and insert the catheter into the opening of your urethra. Keep inserting the catheter until pee starts to come out. Be sure the open end of the catheter is pointed into the toilet.

6. Throw the catheter away in the garbage. Do not flush it down the toilet. Wash your hands again with soap and water.
