HealthCraft P.T. Rail Floor Mast is a floor mounted, rectangular, vertical post which can be used to mount the P.T. Rail when mounting on a wall is not an option or if the rail needs to be placed away from a wall. It provides a stable base for the rail so that users may safely and securely lead a more independent lifestyle. This floor mounted toilet grab bar can be height adjusted on the Mast and comes in Powder Coat White and Stainless to match both finishes of the P.T.Rail.

How to Install Floor Mast into Wood Structure?

Secure mast to floor using appropriate fasteners.
Attach the clamp plate to the back of the P.T.Rail.
Slide clamp plate with P.T.Rail over top of the mast.
With P.T.Rail at desired height, tighten bolts to secure in place.
Install vinyl caps to cover bolt heads.

Floor Mast Installation Warnings

Mast must be installed to floors that are structurally sound.
Ideal if mast can be aligned and secured directly to floor joist.
If desired installation location does not have adequate structure, add wood blocking.
If installation into concrete floor is required, we recommend minimum 5/16" sleeve or wedge type anchor.
CAUTION - do not install if structure under floor is unknown.
