Hartmann Three Layer Compression Bandage System comes with three bandages that operate together for up to seven days to provide continuous compression. It maximizes stretching accuracy and, when the device is wrapped as indicated, generates sub-bandage pressure at the ankle in the 30-40mmHg range. It consists of a sheet of cotton padding, with a high stretch layer and a non-sterile stretch indicator.

  • A cotton padding sheet with thin foam backing is one padding bandage that is easy to mold around the foot and ankle to cover bony prominences. 
  • The compression bandage of layer two provides light compression, easily conforms to body contours, and provides an easy-to-read stretch indicator. 
  • The cohesive bandage of layer three adheres to itself and secures layers one and two without tape.
