Dermarite ComfortFoam Self-Adherent Soft Silicone Foam Dressing with Border is a highly absorbent self-adherent silicone foam dressing consisting of a soft silicone contact layer, a flexible polyurethane foam pad and a vapor-permeable, moisture-proof outer film. The silicone adhesive sticks to surrounding skin but not to the wound bed, minimizing pain and the risk of damage to the wound area. It has a low profile border for added adhesion and is showerproof.

How to use Dermarite ComfortFoam Dressing?

  1. Open the package and remove the dressing.
  2. Remove the first half of the backing and position the dressing so that it completely covers the wound and overlaps the dry skin by one to two inches.
  3. Next, remove the other half of the backing and, carefully, smooth the dressing into place.
