Derma Sciences Xeroform Petrolatum Impregnated Dressing is designed to provide non-adherent packing for full-thickness wounds, providing a moist environment that is conducive to wound healing. It is made up of fine, soft, conformable gauze impregnated with white petrolatum. Its nonadherent design means the removal of these dressings causes minimal trauma to the wound bed and patient.
It indicates for use of management of full-thickness chronic wounds such as stage II-IV pressure injuries, tunneling wounds, and noninfected wounds.
