Derma Sciences Dupad Abdominal Pads are sterile abdominal pads that absorb and disperse fluids within the wound bed, preventing infection, pooling, and maceration. The dressing is made of cellulose and hydrophobic materials to form a moisture barrier and keep the wound area dry. The hydrophobic materials will also prevent strike-through. The edges are sealed to prevent linting while also keeping the barrier in place for the duration of its placement. Each pad is white in color to improve the visibility of the covered area and to allow the user to monitor exudation. For sterility, each abdominal pad is individually packaged.
