How to use SenSura Post-Op One-Piece Drainable Pouch?

SenSura Post-Op Flat Standard One-Piece Ostomy Bag Preparation

  • Cut a hole in the adhesive barrier to fit the exact size and shape of the stoma using a pair of small curved scissors and the cutting guide on the barrier
  • Use the enclosed stoma measuring guide to measure the size and shape of the stoma
  • An exact fit between the hole and the stoma is important to reduce the risk of leakage and skin problems
  • Thoroughly clean the stoma and the surrounding skin area
  • The skin must be completely dry before application of the barrier

Coloplast SenSura 1-Piece Post-Op Flat Ostomy Pouch Application

  • Peel off the protective film from the adhesive barrier. Align the barrier around the stoma and press it firmly onto the skin.
  • The barrier must fit snugly around the stoma
  • To prevent leakage it is important to ensure a tight seal around the stoma
  • When applying pressure to the barrier and pouch on the abdomen, begin in the area around the stoma and press the barrier to the skin
  • Run a finger all the way around the stoma to ensure that the barrier seals well to the skin
  • Smooth the adhesive down, starting from the stoma and moving outwards to the edges, to ensure that the adhesive has made full contact with the skin
  • Only for the pouches with inspection window -
    • Close the window by bending the lid so it covers the window and place your fingers under the flexible flange/ring and close the window by moving your fingers to the top of the coupling.
    • The window will close with a click.
    • Open the window by placing your fingers on the ear of the window, while holding on to the flexible flange/ring with the other hand and gently pulling the window away from the pouch.

How to empty SenSura Opaque Drainable Pouch?

  • Hold the plug/end of the outlet upwards and squeeze the outer end of the outlet, pull out the plug, and relax your hold on the outlet and then drain the pouch
  • After complete drainage, ensure that the outlet is firmly closed with the plug fully inserted
  • The pouch is supplied with an outlet which can be used in connection with a drainage bag
  • The outlet tap can also be cut off, and the outlet can be closed by using a clamp

How to remove SenSura Post-Op Cut-to-Fit Drainable Pouch?

  • Gently remove the pouch by pulling the removal tab on the adhesive away from the skin and roll the barrier slowly downwards.
  • Apply light pressure on the skin with your free hand to help removal.

What is HPFY’s return policy?

  1. Merchandise must be returned within 30 days of the receipt of your order. Returns are not accepted after 30 days.
  2. Items (including parts and accessories) must be returned in new, unused, and resalable condition in its original packaging.
  3. Before returning any product, the buyer must obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#) from a customer service representative. With your RA# you will receive a prepaid return shipping label.
  4. Orders returned without obtaining an RA# will be entitled to receive only "In-Store Credit" that can be used towards future purchases.
  5. Return orders are subject to a 20% restocking fees.
  6. All custom orders and hygienic items are non-returnable. Refer to the “Non-Returnable Items” section for further details.
  7. Returns will be reviewed and inspected before issuing credit. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for processing. The credit will be applied to your original method of payment.
  8. If the return is the result of a defective product or shipping error, we will refund the entire purchase amount and return shipping costs.

Which products are Non-Returnable?

Due to the hygienic nature of some items, they are non-returnable. The items listed below are non-returnable:

  5. Besides these, items that have the “non-returnable” phrase on the website.

We reserve the right to make adjustments due to errors, changing market conditions, product discontinuation or typographical errors in advertisements. Images on the site may not always reflect the actual product. Footrests or leg-rests are not included with wheelchairs unless specified.

How do I receive a return authorization number?

You can submit a return request by logging into your account. You will receive the Return Authorization Number (RA#) details in the email within 2-3 business days.

How long does it take to receive a refund?

Is there any Restocking Fees?
