  • Cleaning and maintenance: 
    Machine wash support socks in a mesh laundry bag or hand wash with warm water using a mild soap or detergent designed for compression stockings
    - Machine dry on low heat


Measuring Instructions:
- Ankle Measurement: Measure around ankle (this measurement is called the circumference). Place the measuring tape at the narrowest part of the ankle, above the ankle bone
- Calf Measurement: Find the widest part of calf. Measure the circumference of calf
- Calf Length: Sit on a chair with legs at a 90-degree angle. Measure the distance from 1 finger below the bend knee to the floor

My husband need to wear 30-40 mmHg Compression Stockings since being discharged from the hospital. His ankle measures 8 1/2" and his calf is 12". Can you tell me what size I need to purchase? I bought a large from a local pharmacy, but my husband said they were too small. According to the box, he should wear a medium, but they are almost impossible to put on. Can you help!

As per the measurement of Ankle and Calf of your husband, he needs Medium size Socks. 
please try and measure the ankle and calf circumference of your husband again, or else try the x-large one.

For correct size selection please refer the specification tab on the product page. We do have closed toe socks from the same manufacturer with same pressure.
