We are looking for a product to help position a person back into a wheel chair in good sitting position after using a mechanical list. Does this assist in sliding a person back into the seat?

Hello - My 97-year-old father is confined to a hospital bed. After positioning him at a right angle so that he can be fed, etc., he slides down and needs to be repositioned often. Would this product work for the bed?? Also, can it be laundered??

Thanks for your help.

Possible, The bottom of the cushion is slip resistant. it will not move on the chair. Depending on how he sits and what material his pants are; he may slip off the cushion itself.
