Advanced Orthopaedics K. S. Lace Up Wrist Splint comes with deluxe ultra-suede perforated material with flannel lining for added patient comfort. Two metal dorsal stays on the back of the brace helps prevent extension. Unique stockinette liner provides comfort and easy slip-on application. 7" length. It supports and limits the motion of the MP and CMC joints. It is indicated for deQuervain syndrome and rheumatoid arthritis.

More Information

  • Sizing: Small/Medium is a universal size for most women and Medium/Large is a universal size for most men. Specify right or left thumb
  • How to Apply:
    - Unfasten closures
    - Align the splint so the metal stay is parallel to the outside of the thumb (medial/inner side of the wrist)
    - The metal stay can be bent to shape for a customized fit
    - The spica portion should fit around the base of the thumb
    - Using free hand, close the top strap around the thumb and wrap the straps around the wrist and hand starting at the bottom
    - Readjust if necessary
  • Care:
    - Fasten closures
    - Hand wash, do not submerge in water but simply wipe clean with a damp cloth in cold water and mild soap
    - Use a towel to remove excess water (do not twist or wring)
    - Air dry away from heat
    - Do not tumble dry
    - Do not bleach
  • Caution:
    - Wear as recommended
    - Always consult a physician when encountering persistent pain, discomfort, inflammation, or swelling
