Care and Instructions

• Close the foam wraps in the front to allow easy removal of the brace later
• The foam wraps may be trimmed with scissors as needed
• The side bars may be bent as illustrated at Right to accommodate individual legs
• Bend in equal amounts above and below the hinge and on each side
• Wash foam wraps and straps by hand only and air dry
• Extra wraps are available from Breg
• To tighten straps securely it is easiest to use two hands, one to pull the end after it passes through the ring and the other to push the strap on the leg toward the ring
• To adjust the hinge, simply pull the stop out of its slot and move it to the appropriate slot that corresponds to the degree of flexion or extension desired
• The slot identified as “Lock” is used for locking the brace in full extension
