  • TENS devices have no curative value
  • Keep the device out of reach of children
  • Long-term stimulation at the same electrode site may cause skin irritation
  • Effectiveness is highly dependent upon patient selection by a person qualified in the management of pain patients
  • Simultaneous connection of a patient to a HF SURGICAL EQUIPMENT may result in burns at the site of the stimulator electrodes and possible damage to the stimulator
  • Operation in close proximity (e.g. 1m) to a shortwave or microwave therapy equipment may produce instability in the stimulator output
  • Remove batteries if unit is not used for a long period of time
  • Never apply electrodes over irritated or broken skin

  • If you have a demand—type cardiac pacemaker. do not use a TENS unit
  • Do not use TENS on the carotid sinus (neck) region
