How to use Therafin Reach Suppository Inserter and Digital Bowel Stimulator?
Handle Adjustments
Digi-Sert & Supp-a Sert:

- If fitting right hand, the spanner bar attached to the stainless steel shaft should be to the left of the handle. If fitting left hand, it should be to the right.
- Loosen the bolts holding the spanner bar in place and move to desired position.
- With tip still pointing upwards, place fingers between larger portion of loop and shaft; place thumb on other side of shaft.
- To change handle size, remove the nut and bolt from backside of handle; align holes for larger or smaller handle loop size as required. Replace bolt and tighten cap nut. (Note: By aligning base of shaft with any of the various holes along the spanner bar, the angle can be changed to accommodate differing wrist functions.)
Shur-Gryp Digi-Sert & Shur-Gryp Supp-a-Sert:

- Hold the unit with the stainless steel shaft facing user and probe or inserter facing upward.
- Place fingers through the loop formed by the hook-n-loop strap and plastic handpiece. The thumb should be in front of tube holding stainless steel shaft; plastic handpiece should fit securely in palm.
- To tighten and fasten to hand, pull the thumb loop at the end of the strap downward and press hook-n-loop strap together so it securely adheres to itself.
- If the molded plastic handpiece does not fit properly, soften plastic by heating with heat gun or hair dryer and bend into shape. Caution: Plastic will be hot.
- The shaft angle can be rotated, shortened, or lengthened according to wrist function. To adjust the length or rotation of the shaft, loosen both screws. To adjust the angle of the shaft, loosen the TOP screw and remove the bottom screw, reposition shaft, and replace screw.
E-Z Reach Digi-Sert, E-Z Reach Supp-a-Sert & Combo (Single Handle):

- Release clear vinyl strap from stainless steel pin on base of handle.
- Position unit so that gray handle fits into user’s palm, with clear vinyl strap placed over back of hand.
- To secure unit to hand, grasp thumb loop at bottom of clear vinyl strap; tug firmly until strap is tight. Insert metal tip on base of handle into hole position most appropriate for secure handling.
- Units are shipped as right-handed models. To change for left-handed use, or to adjust, hold onto gray handle and pull clear vinyl hand strap first at the top and then at the bottom to twist into desired orientation.
- The probe/inserter on the E-Z Reach series is curved. This curve can be repositioned to a users specific need by softening the bend with a heat gun, reshaping into desired position. Caution: Material will be hot.

This is a horrible item. The instructions seem to be for left hand people, yet it not a left hand item. They are not clear, and the illustrations are unclear. The wrist band is hard plastic, and when adjusted to fit ones hand, the end flaps across my wrist and it most uncomfortable and irritating. The pics to unscrew the bolts to use the other piece, are not anything that looks familiar. I ripped off the hard plastic wrist band which hurt my skin, and now there is a sharp point on the end which is where the cheap plastic band attaches. It just not anything I'll use. Wish I hadn't wasted a ridiculous amount of money on this piece of junk. _x000D_
So very unhappy with this purchase. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this; it not usable. _x000D_
Unfortunately, it not returnable, even though I haven't used it as it just horribly uncomfortable. The point at the end of the wand also punctured my skin!
Theyre products to help with dexterity issues and yet the handle is interchangeable and only one comes in the combo. How am I supposed to be changing that if I need to use both? Plus its untrue that they have adjustable angles and lengths.

Unfortunately, the product was defective. I ended up wasting several suppositories. First, it insert the suppository far in enough so it kept falling out. Then, it stuck to the end of the inserter, despite using surgilube. Overall experience is very disappointing. I feel I should get my money back and the manufacturer should fix the problem.
