Contraindications:

• Not for fixed bony contractures
• Not for use over open wounds and infected areas
   

Precautions:

• This product is not to be used during ambulation
• This product is to be fitted initially by a healthcare professional who is familiar with the purpose for which it is prescribed. The healthcare professional is responsible for providing wearing instructions and precautions to other healthcare practitioners, care providers involved in the patients care, and the patient
• If unusual swelling, discomfort, or skin discoloration or breakdown occurs, use should be discontinued and a healthcare professional consulted
• This product contains natural rubber latex, which may cause allergic reactions
• Be careful that the straps are not so tight that they interfere with circulation
   

Care and Cleaning:

• The open cell foam insert can be wiped clean. The plastic splint and straps can be washed with soap and warm water. All parts should be allowed to dry thoroughly before reapplication
