The elbow is the joint that connects the forearm to the upper arm. It provides the basic movements of the arm and is a flexible joint. It is not weak but is not too strong. There are tow joints in the elbow; one is responsible for the up and down movement whereas the other is responsible for the rotation of the arm and the hand.
