How Cath-Pockets and Cath-Track Make a Difference?

• Cath-Pockets - Patients will no longer be burdened with the task of having drainage bags full of bodily fluids tied to their legs with unsanitary straps, which can put the patient at risk for infection. The CathWear two-pocket system allows patients to simply place their bags into the secure and spacious Cath-Pockets. This technology prevents the bag from sliding up and down the leg. The patient no longer has sweat points due to plastic-to-skin contact, which may increase skin irritation. Over-tightening of the antiquated straps or elastic band is completely removed, which creates blood clots and skin rashes.
   
• Cath-Track - Patients will finally be able to eliminate inadvertent pulling and dislodging of the drainage catheter from the organs by utilizing the Cath-Track system where all of their tubes will be safely concealed and secured. There is also a Velcro opening on the Cath-Track that will allow the patient to have an access point which eliminates any complications of threading the tubing through the patients with loss of dexterity associated with rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis.

How to use CathWear Underwear?

For use with Biliary Catheter

1. Roll-up leg bag
2. Run it through the catheter channel tract
3. Unroll leg bag
4. Insert the leg bag into the pocket
5. Exit valve at the bottom of the pocket

For use with Nephrostomy Catheter

To use multiple drains and leg bags, Cathwear offers options for comfortable drainage:

1. Roll Up Leg Bags
2. Run the leg bags through the catheter channel tract
3. A velcro tab provides extra channel access
4. After inserting the bags through the tract, unroll the leg bags
5. Insert the leg bags in the pockets
6. Exit drainage valve at the bottom of the pockets.

For use with Foley Catheter

1. Open the Foley access tab
2. Feed the catheter through the opening
3. Insert the leg bag into a pocket
4. Exit the valve at the bottom of the leg pocket.

For use with Suprapubic Catheter

An access opening in the catheter underwear allows for ease of use

1. Roll-up leg bag
2. Run the leg bag and drainage tube through the suprapubic opening
3. Use the velcro tab to run the leg bag through the channel tract
4. Unroll the leg bag
5. Insert leg bag into a pocket
6. Exit the valve at the bottom of the leg pocket
