It is recommended that 2 assistants be used for all lifting preparation and transferring procedures.

  1. Press the legs open button on the hand control to open the legs of the patient lift to maximum
  2. Position the patient lift using the steering handle
  3. Press the boom down button on the hand control to lower the boom for easy attachment of the sling

  6. Reinstall the battery onto the control box. Make sure there is an audible click.

How to clean Reliant Power Lift and Sling?

  • Keep lift and slings clean. A soft cloth, dampened with water and a small amount of mild detergent is used to clean the patient lift. The lift can be cleaned with nonabrasive cleaners.
  • Wash sling regularly in a water temperature not to exceed 180°F (82°C).

Apply lubricant, if the casters are exposed to extremely moist conditions. Lubricate all pivot points. Wipe all excess lubricant from lift surface. Lubricate the following parts:

What is the weight limit on the 450?

If a caregiver is not there, can patient operate this?

The weight limit is 450lbs, no it is not recommended that this unit be used without a caregiver.

Although Invacare recommends that two assistants be used for all lifting preparation, transferring from and transferring to procedures, the equipment will permit proper operation by one assistant. The use of one assistant is based on the evaluation of the health care professional for each individual case.

How do I receive a return authorization number?

You can submit a return request by logging into your account. You will receive the Return Authorization Number (RA#) details in the email within 2-3 business days.

If you do not have an email address, we will make other accommodations for RA# Details. Write the RA# on your label affixed to your package prior to shipment.

How long does it take to receive a refund?

Please allow 3 to 4 weeks to process the returns. Once the item is received, and inspected, your refund will be processed and automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Is there any Restocking Fees?

  2. Outbound shipping cost is non-refundable.
