Medline Sureview IV Securement Dressing offers added support and securement of IV catheters, while permitting insertion site visualization. The non-woven border frames the site, helping to keep the site secure, while the slit snugly wraps around the catheter hub. The moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) and microporous technology permit continuous observation of wound and line sites.

    - 1 piece of foam tape (to cushion/support IV catheter hub)
    - 1 piece of nonwoven tape to secure tubing
    - 1 ID label to mark date/initials
  • Easy to apply I.V. cover dressing with a reinforced fabric frame
  • Conformable, will not stick to itself
  • Variety of delivery systems
  • Latex free
  • May be left in place for up to 7 days
  • Dressing change frequency will depend on amount of drainage
  • Indications:
    - Partial-thickness wounds
    - Full-thickness wounds (secondary dressing)
    - Peripheral and central IV lines
    - Skin tears, lacerations and abrasions and to help prevent skin breakdown caused by friction to epidermis
    Note: Contraindicated as a primary dressing on wounds with moderate to heavy drainage
