The ratcheting foot lift and optional Trendelenburg provide answers for the Rehab Wing, while the extremely low height works well for Memory Care Wings. The caregiver can comfortably execute normal duties for each resident at a working height of 30". The Auto Contour feature raises the resident's head and knees at the same time, providing comfort for the resident and putting them in a better posture for reading, watching TV, or conversing with family. How to use Invacare CS7 Hospital Bed?

With knee-foot platform adjusted to the highest position, lift the foot panel
The foot section can rest at any of the six pre-set stops
Slowly lower the platform to engage the nearest stop
The platform cannot lower past the nearest stop while being adjusted
To reset the ratchet mechanism, raise the platform to the highest level then lower the platform in one motion
At the lowest position the deck can once again be raised to the desired stop

Unplug product before washing
Make sure all electrical parts (motors, control box, and pendant) are not damaged and that all connection ports are plugged.
Do not allow liquids to enter electrical components
Disinfect and wash all components.
Do not submerge the bed frame or electrical parts
Do not power wash or steam-clean. Use household water pressure only
Rinse thoroughly with water (maximum temperature 110°F or 43°C).
Do not use solvents, bleach, alcohol, petroleum products, caustic agents, or highly alkaline or acidic agents to clean the bed
Retract each actuator to the minimum stroke length before washing to avoid degreasing the piston rod
Dry all components before storing
