How to use ConvaTec Stomahesive Moldable Strips?

Stomahesive Strips - for ostomy use

1. Cut the Stomahesive strip to the length of the skin fold, scar or crevice; several strips may be used to "layer the depression.
2. Remove the backing paper from only one side of the strip and press into place. (If "layering" the strips, remove the backing paper from both sides of the strips.)
3. Remove the outer backing paper.
4. Apply the ostomy wafer over the Stomahesive Strips, according to the use instructions of the wafer.

Stomahesive Strips - for use with male external cathters

1. Remove excess hair if necessary.
2. Cut the Stomahesive Strip to a length which is slightly longer than the circum-ference of the penis.
3. Remove the silicone release paper from one side of the strip only and attach the strip midway up the shaft of the penis, and no closer than 1" from the scrotal area.
4. Press well Into place allowing one or two minutes for good adhesion.
5. Before completely removing the outer release paper, press the overlapping ends of the adhesive mass together to form a continuous sealing ring as shown.
6. Remove the remaining release paper and attach the male external catheter as described In that product's instructions for use.
