Instructions For Honeywell QuietClean Air Purifier

  1. Read all instructions before operating the air purifier.
  2. Place air purifier where it is not easily knocked over by persons in the household.
  3. Always turn the air purifier controls to the OFF position and unplug from the wall outlet when not in use.
  4. To disconnect the air purifier, press the Power button to turn the unit off, grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. Never pull by the cord.
  5. Do not use any product with a damaged cord or plug or if product malfunctions, is dropped or damaged in any manner. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
  6. Do not use air purifier outdoors.
  7. Never use air purifier unless it is fully assembled.
  8. Do not run power cord under carpets, and do not cover with throw rugs. Arrange cord such that it will not be tripped over
  9. Do not use air cleaner where combustible gases or vapors are present.
  10. Do not expose the air purifier to rain, or use near water, in a bathroom, laundry area or other damp location.
  11. The air purifier must be used in its upright position.
  12. Do not allow foreign objects to enter ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause electric shock or damage to the air purifier. Do not block air outlets or intakes.
  13. Locate air purifier near the outlet and avoid using an extension cord.
  14. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of shock, this plug is intended to fit only one way in a polarized outlet. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. DO NOT attempt to defeat this safety feature.
  15. A loose fit between the AC outlet (receptacle) and plug may cause overheating and a distortion of the plug. Contact a qualified electrician to replace loose or worn outlet.
  16. Do not sit, stand or place heavy objects on the air purifier.
  17. Disconnect power supply before servicing
  • Ensure the air purifier is plugged into a working electrical outlet.
  • Press the power button once. The unit will start at medium speed for a few seconds and then automatically change to low speed.
  • Press the power button again to select a different cleaning level.
  • Portable air purifiers are more effective in rooms where all doors and windows are closed. In general, it is recommended that you run your air purifier while you are at home to clean the air.

Removing the filters
The ifD filters are supplied within the air purifier.

  • Turn-off and unplug the air purifier. While pressing on the release tab at the top of the rear grille, pull the grille towards you and remove it. Gently push along the edge of the filter frame and pull forward. Repeat for the second filter.
  • After cleaning, place filters back into the air purifier housing and snap filter grille back into place.

Cleaning the ifd filters
To clean the ifD filters

  • After removing the ifD Filters from the air purifier, follow the steps below to wash the ifD filters.
Turn the power off and unplug the air purifier.
  • Rinse the filter with clean tap water
  • If the filter still appears dirty, proceed to Washing, otherwise proceed to drying
  • Remove the ifD filters from the unit.
  • Fill a sink with lukewarm water and add a few drops of mild dish soap.
  • Gently swish the filters in the soap solution to clean.
  • Soak the filters for 2-3 minutes. Do not leave for an extended period of time.
  • Rinse the filters with clean tap water
  • Shake the filters to remove any excess water.
  • Place the filters with the honeycomb side down on a plush towel.
  • Note that the filters may still be discolored even after washing. This is acceptable and will not affect performance.
  • Allow the ifD filters to dry for a few hours or overnight.
  • When the ifD filters are completely dry, place back into the air purifier.

What is HPFY’s return policy?

Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We stand behind our products. If the merchandise you received is defective or not what you expected it to be, and you wish to return the item, please submit a return request in the My Account section of our website, contact our Customer Service department at (866) 316-0162 / (203) 616-2850 or email us.

  1. Merchandise must be returned within 30 days of the receipt of your order. Returns are not accepted after 30 days.
  2. Items (including parts and accessories) must be returned in new, unused, and resalable condition in its original packaging.
  3. Before returning any product, the buyer must obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#) from a customer service representative. With your RA# you will receive a prepaid return shipping label.
  4. Orders returned without obtaining an RA# will be entitled to receive only "In-Store Credit" that can be used towards future purchases.
  5. Return orders are subject to a 20% restocking fees.
  6. All custom orders and hygienic items are non-returnable. Refer to the “Non-Returnable Items” section for further details.
  7. Returns will be reviewed and inspected before issuing credit. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for processing. The credit will be applied to your original method of payment.
  8. If the return is the result of a defective product or shipping error, we will refund the entire purchase amount and return shipping costs.

Which products are Non-Returnable?

Due to the hygienic nature of some items, they are non-returnable. The items listed below are non-returnable:

  1. All hygienic items.
  2. Opened personal care items.
  3. Anything opened, used, or tried on.
  4. All customized items.
  5. Besides these, items that have the “non-returnable” phrase on the website.

We reserve the right to make adjustments due to errors, changing market conditions, product discontinuation or typographical errors in advertisements. Images on the site may not always reflect the actual product. Footrests or leg-rests are not included with wheelchairs unless specified.

How do I receive a return authorization number?

You can submit a return request by logging into your account. You will receive the Return Authorization Number (RA#) details in the email within 2-3 business days.

  • Fill out the return form and Submit it

If you do not have an email address, we will make other accommodations for RA# Details. Write the RA# on your label affixed to your package prior to shipment.

How long does it take to receive a refund?

Please allow 3 to 4 weeks to process the returns. Once the item is received, and inspected, your refund will be processed and automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Is there any Restocking Fees?

  1. 20% restocking fees will be applied.
  2. Outbound shipping cost is non-refundable.
  3. For orders that qualified for free shipping, $8.99 will be deducted from the refund if the product is returned.
