Safetac Technology Layer
Safetac is a patented soft silicone adhesive technology. Mepilex Border Ag with Safetac technology is atraumatic both during wear and upon removal. It minimizes trauma to the wound and the surrounding skin, thereby minimizing pain to the patient. It also prevents maceration by sealing around the wound edges to protect the peri-wound skin.
