Healthcraft Ceiling Plate Extender for SuperPole allows the standard SuperPole ceiling plate (20" across) to be inset within, and provide a 30" wide span with holes for attachment to 24" beam centers. The extender should be installed prior to installation of the SuperPole and should be secured to the ceiling using the outer set of holes with appropriate fasteners.

Ceiling Plate Extender Features

Does not come with a SuperPole
Attaches to the top plate on the existing SuperPole and extends the length of the top plate by an additional 10"
Ceiling Plate Extender can be used both when structural ceiling joists have increased spacing or when the SuperPole is expected to be used more aggressively

Installing the Ceiling Extender

Place ceiling plate (supplied with your SuperPole) such that it nests inside the ceiling plate extender
Position it such that the mounting holes line up with the middle two holes of the extender plate
Insert the flat head screw through the extender plate holes that line up with the ceiling plate holes
Install the flat washer, lock washer, and acorn nut on the end of the flat head screw protruding through the ceiling plate
Using the supplied hex key, tighten the screw firmly
Once both screws are installed and tightened, the ceiling plate assembly is now complete
