  • Be careful that the straps are not so tight that they interfere with circulation.

  • Allow to air dry thoroughly before replacing on splint
    Replacing cover:

Instructions For Use:
The splint includes three straps with hook ends. The longest strap also has hook material attached to the center of one surface.
  • Put the splint into position on the extremity to determine necessary modification. Bend the splint base to accommodate the level of flexion or extension. The distal projection cannot be modified.
  • Attach the hook end of one strap to the ulnar surface of the distal volar projection.
  • Choose the foam cone piece that best suits the level of flexion or extension. Put the cover on the cone and put the cone onto the distal projection of the splint over the hook end of the strap.
  • With the splint in position on the extremity, wrap the distal strap across the fingers. Fasten the strap to the hook on the cover of the cone, continue wrapping under the thumb, and fasten it to itself.
  • Place the hook piece in the center of the longest strap onto the volar surface of the splint at the level of the wrist. Wrap both strap ends diagonally across the dorsum of wrist and attach each to the opposite side of the splint.
  • Attach the remaining strap proximally.
