• Operation:
  - Puppy Dog requires 2 AA batteries (not included) to operate
  - Alkaline batteries must be used (e.g. Duracell or Energizer Brands)
  - Do not use rechargeable batteries because they supply a lower voltage and the unit may not perform as well
  - Never mix old and new batteries together or different brands or types together
  - Turn Puppy Dog upside down to reveal the battery compartment
  - Install 2 AA batteries paying close attention to proper battery polarity
  - Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it
  - Connect Puppy Dog to any external capability switch (not included) via the
  jack located at the end of Puppy Dogs cord
  - Puppy Dog is equipped with a 1/8 jack for use with external capability switches with a 1/8 plug
  - Make sure to make a tight connection, there should be no gaps
  - Actuate your external capability switch and Puppy Dog will spring to life, he will walk forward and bark
  - Puppy Dog will remain on while the external capability switch continues to be actuated
  - Once you release the external capability switch, there will be a brief delay, and then Puppy Dog will turn off
• Care of Unit:
  - Do not inhibit Puppy Dogs movement, as this may cause irreversible damage
  - Do not lift Puppy Dog up by his head, tail or legs, or drop Puppy Dog
  - If you will not be using Puppy Dog for an extended amount of time, we recommend removing the batteries
  - Do not submerge the unit in water, as it will damage the electrical components, Puppy Dog is surface washable only
