Posey Defined Perimeter Mattress Covers are especially designed for patients prone to unassisted bed exit and/or falling out of bed. These help promote a safe bed environment without the need for bed side rails. The wedge-shaped foam sections line the perimeter of the covers and help provide a gentle reminder to those lying in bed of the location of the mattress edges, and help provide a less restrictive environment than side rails.

4" high wedge-shaped foam sections form a sensory and gentle fall prevention mechanism
15" openings in the mid-section allow for easy exit and entry into bed
Straps with quick-release buckles easily secure the cover to the bed
Cover consists of waterproof urethane coating that can be wiped clean with a mild disinfectant
Strategically located sheet clips hold sheets securely in place (model 5750)
Breathable nylon models (5750NC) compatible with low air loss mattresses
Zippered foam compartments to facilitate laundering of cover
Elastic fitted corners
Includes removable foot bolster for additional comfort (models 5750 and 5750NC)
