Posey Defined Perimeter Mattress Covers are especially designed for patients prone to unassisted bed exit and/or falling out of bed. These help promote a safe bed environment without the need for bed side rails. The wedge-shaped foam sections line the perimeter of the covers and help provide a gentle reminder to those lying in bed of the location of the mattress edges, and help provide a less restrictive environment than side rails.

  • 4" high wedge-shaped foam sections form a sensory and gentle fall prevention mechanism
  • 15" openings in the mid-section allow for easy exit and entry into bed
  • Straps with quick-release buckles easily secure the cover to the bed
  • Cover consists of waterproof urethane coating that can be wiped clean with a mild disinfectant
  • Strategically located sheet clips hold sheets securely in place (model 5750)
  • Breathable nylon models (5750NC) compatible with low air loss mattresses
  • Zippered foam compartments to facilitate laundering of cover
  • Elastic fitted corners
  • Includes removable foot bolster for additional comfort (models 5750 and 5750NC)
