These can be lowered by pushing in the snap buttons at the bottom of the rail by a caregiver. The bed rails have steel construction for strength and durability and are powder-coated a neutral off-white to fit any bedroom decor.

How to install Security Bed Rails?

  • All of our safety bed rails are easy to assemble and install; no tools are required
  • Simply place the stabilizing tubes between the mattress and box spring and snap the safety bed rail into place
  • For the double sided model, a center rail connects and secures the two stabilizing rails

Does the structure that goes under the mattress have to attach to a metal frame.  Our bed has a wooden "box" frame around it, so the typical need to attach to a metal frame doesn't work.

Thank you for your inquiry. This does not have tot attach to a metal bed frame, however it will not work on a wooden box frame. Item number 1875M will work on a wooden box frame though
