Deroyal Quick Check Mitt Instructions for Use

Instructions to Use Deroyal Quick-Check Mitt

• Slide the patient’s hand into the mitten with the palm facing down. The inspection flap should rest on top of the hand.
• Secure wrist closure by feeding the hook and loop strap through the plastic buckle and back onto itself.
• To view the patient’s hand/ fingers or close the inspection flap, reach under the inspection flap and detach the hook and loop
• Pull the flap back to expose the hand.
• NOTE: Deroyal Quick-Check Mitt is not designed with an optional bed attachment strap.

Contraindications:

• Incorrect use of deroyal mittens can result in injury or death
• Do not use this device without authorization by a physician or other licensed independent practitioner
• Do not secure straps to bedside rails
• Do not expose this product to any source of flame
• Materials in this device are susceptible to ignition or burning
