• Secure straps of the limb holder to a portion of the bed or gurney that moves with the patient
• Keep straps out of patients's reach
• Keep in mind to pull the bed or gurney side rails up

Contraindications of Deroyal Limb Holder

• Never use on a patient who is or may become highly aggressive or agitated
• Never use on a patient if an I.V. or wound site could be compromised by the device

• Limb holders are to be fitted initially by a physician (or properly licensed practitioner) who is familiar with its intended purpose.
• The physician or practitioner is responsible for providing wearing instructions and precautions to other healthcare practitioners or healthcare providers involved in the patient care and the patient.
