How to use Convaid Cruiser Pediatric Stroller?
Unfolding
- Lay the chair flat on the ground and unbuckle the closure strap
- Stand the chair on the front caster, grasp the side of the Push Handle, and push down on the Seat Tube
- Press down firmly on the seat tubes to ensure the chair is completely unfolded
- Using your foot, push down on the Lower Rear Lock Brace until it locks into a straight position
- Press the grey buttons on each side of the Push Handle at the same time, and rotate the Push Handle to the desired height
- Swing footplates down into position
Folding
- Swing footplates to the side.
- Press the grey buttons on each side of the Push Handle and rotate the Push Handle down completely
- Unlock the Rear Lock Brace by kicking up on the center of the brace with the foot
- Grasp one side of the Push Handle and pull up on the seat fabric or seat tube with the opposite hand
- Lay the chair back onto the Push Handle. Push down on the tubing above the front tires until the chair is folded

Suitable Environment
- Chair designed for indoor and outdoor use
- Wipe off excess rainwater with a soft cloth if used in the rain
- Clean chair if splashed with mud, salt water, or corrosive substances; reapply hypoallergenic and biodegradable lubricant to moving parts
- Avoid contact with seawater to prevent corrosion in inaccessible areas
- Clean wheels to remove dirt or mud before transitioning from outside to inside environments
Storage
Store the chair in a clean, dry area and avoid extended exposure to heat or moisture
Warnings
- The chair is only intended to carry one user at a time
- Do not carry more than one user at one time. The weight carried by the Cruiser chair must never exceed the total weight capacity of the chair. When using the chair in transit, all accessories must be removed from the chair and secured separately
- To avoid tipping, do not hang the item from the push handle
- To reduce the risk of an accident:
- Always verify that quick-release axles are locked so that the back wheels do not come off
- Always secure the user into the chair during use
- Make sure that the chair operates properly. Repair any problems before use
- Always watch for obstacles and avoid them as often as possible
- Always carefully read the User Guide and get comfortable operating the chair
- Do not go up or down stairs without the assistance of another person or with the user in the chair. If devices such as ramps or elevators are available, please use them. If they are not available, then the chair should be carried over the obstacle by two people without the user in the chair
- Do not stand on the foot support when getting into or out of the chair
- Positioning belts should never be used as a safety restraint device in a motor vehicle when transporting a chair with the occupant. An additional WC19 (ISO 7176-19) compliant automotive type seat belt is required when the chair is used in transport vehicles
- During transit, a five-point harness should be used for occupants weighing less than 51 lbs.
- Before removing the user from the chair and before returning the user to it, always engage the wheel locks. Never remove or place the user without engaging the wheel locks
- Do not leave/store the chair in direct sun/heat over a long period. Check the temperature of the chair prior to usage

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by accident or misuse. To exercise this limited warranty, the user should first obtain a Return Authorization Number from Convaid’s customer service.
