How to use Bard Foley Care Wipes?

Setup before beginning the cleaning process with Surestep Foley Wipes

• Wash hands and don clean gloves
• Place an absorbent pad or chux beneath the patient
• Remove all 5 foley catheter wipes from the pack and set on an absorbent pad
• Place empty pack to side to reference directions and use orange compliance sticker following completion of procedure
• Note: The Foley catheter can remain secured to the patient throughout the procedure.

How to use Provon Wipes for Female?

1. Start at the meatal junction, gently cleanse the first 1-2” of Foley, then stabilize Foley with a non-dominant hand while cleaning the remainder of the catheter to the bifurcation
2. Clean meatus and distal (far side) labia
3. Clean proximal (nearside) labia
4. Clean each inner thigh with a separate cloth in a downward motion
