How to apply Abena Latex Free Foam Dressing?


  1. Carefully clean the wound and its surrounding area with sterile water or saline solution and dry the surrounding skin gently.
  2. Select the right size of dressing for the wound area. Grasp the release papers labelled 1, while avoiding contact with the sterile pad.
  3. While avoiding contact with the adhesive area by holding the dressing by its release papers labelled 1, carefully apply it to the wound.
  4. Gently smooth the dressing into place making sure the edges are adhering well, then peel off the second release papers labelled 2.

  • Not intended for use on third-degree burns
