How to use Dynamic Silver Prosthetic Shrinker?

It is recommended that you consult with your medical professional and fitter for proper guidelines on the use and application of this product. As therapy progresses or new symptoms develop, it may be necessary to take new measurements for a new prosthetic shrinker.

1. Turn the shrinker inside out, except for its end part.
2. Take the shrinker, folded over itself, in both hands and slip it over the residual limb.
3. Turn the shrinker back and pull it evenly over the residual limb.
4. Now stroke the whole shrinker gradually upwards, smoothing it to your leg with the palm of your hand.

How to care for and maintain Juzo Prosthetic Shrinker?

• Hand or machine wash warm daily to maximize therapeutic effectiveness and prolong the life of your Juzo garment.
• When machine washing and drying, use the lowest permanent press settings. A garment bag is strongly recommended and available in the Juzo Compression Therapy Care Accessory package.
• Wash dark colors separately from other clothing.
• Use Juzo washing detergent or another mild soap.
• Do Not Use bleach, chlorine, fabric softeners, or other laundry additives. These may damage your garment.
• Please refer to the washing symbols on the label sewn into your Juzo shrinker. 
• Store your Prosthetic Shrinker in a dry place at room temperature.

• Weeping skin areas
• Arterial insufficiency
• Stasis dermatitis
• Acute thrombophlebitis
• Non reduced edemas
• Non compensated cardiac insuciency

Cautions:

• It is recommended that Juzo Silver Garments be removed before cardiac defibrillation and MRI scans.
• No side effects are currently known.
• However, if a negative result should occur (i.e. skin irritations) from the use of our product, please consult with a medical professional.
