Mepilex Transfer Dressing by Molnlycke vertically moves exudate from the wound into a secondary absorbent pad. This minimizes the risk of maceration. This risk is further minimized by the Safetac layer that seals around the wound margins and stops the exudate from leaking onto the surrounding skin.

How does Mepilex Exudate Transfer Dressing work?

Mepilex Transfer with Safetac technology is a thin and conformable dressing. The soft silicone Safetac layer makes direct contact with the wound and the surrounding skin even on irregular surfaces. It seals around the wound margins. The foam structure of Mepilex dressing allows the wound exudate to move vertically into a secondary dressing. When used properly in combination with a secondary dressing, it maintains a moist wound environment.

How to use Molnlycke Mepilex Transfer Dressing?

Mepilex Transfer Soft Silicone Exudate Transfer Dressing    1. Clean the wound area. Cut Mepilex Transfer Soft Silicone Exudate Transfer Dressing for customization, if required. Remove the larger release film.
