How to use Disposable Bubble Humidifier?

1. Wash hands and remove the bubble humidifier from the package.
2. Unscrew the lid and add water to the Maximum Level marked on the side of the bottle. Sterile, distilled, or boiled water is recommended.
3. Replace the lid and ensure the lid is screwed on tight.
4. Attach the bubble humidifier to an oxygen source, i.e. flowmeter, concentrator, or liquid tank.
5. Test for leaks. Turn the flow to 6 LPM and block the outlet port on the bubble humidifier. An alarm should sound in 5 seconds or less. If not, check connections.
6. Attach oxygen tubing to the outlet port and adjust flow to the prescribed setting.
7. Apply interface, i.e. nasal cannula or oxygen mask, to patient.
8. If the water level drops to the Minimum level marked on the bottle, add more water.

Bubble Humidifier Cleaning Instruction

• Every 14 days, wash your bubble humidifier with warm soapy water.
• Rinse thoroughly with distilled or boiled water.
• Recommend replacing the Bubble Humidifier every 30 days.

Note Tap Water Use: If using Tap Water in your bubble humidifier or rinsing with Tap Water after cleaning, wash the bubble humidifier every 3 days.
