This alternating pressure mattress has 16, six-inch horizontally configured bladders. The 70 Denier quilted nylon cover helps protect user from friction and shear. It will not bottom out with mattress hose attached to the compressor power unit. The non-skid, 1000 Denier nylon bottom as well as 10 nylon web buckled hold downs secure mattress to bed.
